Penn Heat Pump Pathways Eligible Classes

PPATEC is an approved training provider of the Penn Heat Pump Pathways (PHPP) program. PHPP expands access to high-quality heat pump training, financial support, and job opportunities to support workers, employers, and trainers across the Commonwealth. The following benefits are available to employers who participate in this program.

• 100% class reimbursement (paid to the employer) for employees to attend any of the eligible classes listed below.
• $8 per hour wage reimbursement (paid to the employer) while attending eligible classes.
• Reimbursement for housing/lodging expenses for employees who require overnight accommodations while attending PPATEC classes (reimbursement is capped at the federal per diem rate, which is currently $110 but subject to change)
• PHPP supports the Penn Energy Savers Program (PESP). To qualify, individuals must complete PHPP training, in addition to meeting PESP eligibility requirements.

Note: Employers are also eligible to enroll employees into the PPATEC 400-Hour HVAC & Energy Professional Program to receive tuition reimbursement, wage reimbursement, and lodging reimbursement. 

Attendees must be a Pennsylvania resident or be employed by a Pennsylvania-based company. Both employers and employees will need to register on the Penn Heat Pump Pathways website in order to be eligible for reimbursement benefits.
