Water Treatment Basics

In this class you will learn how to do home water testing for hardness, iron, PH, and total dissolved solids.   You will learn how to understand the results of the test.   You will learn how the effects water quality has on fixtures, water using appliances, and water heating systems.   This class will equip individuals to size, quote, and sell proper equipment.   Students will learn best service and install practice for the equipment.

Following equipment items will be covered:

Softeners, RO, UV Lights, Acid Neutralizers, Iron Removal, and Sulfur Removal

Our Instructor: Mike Elmer has been in the HVAC and plumbing industry since 2002 and has worked for leading contractors in the South Central PA region. His background includes service HVAC, plumbing, and electric. Mike currently works in the field as a lead troubleshooting service technician.
