NATE certification tests represent real world working knowledge of HVACR systems. Developed by a committee of industry experts nationwide, our NATE exams represent HVACR topics pertinent to contractors, educators, manufacturers, and utilities alike. All of the NATE tests are rigorous, multiple-choice, knowledge-based tests and validate a technician’s knowledge.
To assist technicians in preparing for this test, this program will feature a prep session for the Heat Pump Installation Specialty Certification in the morning and early afternoon. At the end of the day, the Specialty test will be administered. Attendees will have the option of taking a different Specialty test if they would like to do so. That must be expressed to the PPA upon registering for the class. To learn more about additional Specialty Certification topics, please visit http://www.natex.org/site/341/Technicians/What-Tests-to-Take/KATEs/Specialty-Tests.
In order to be NATE certified, the technician needs to pass the core test and one of the specialty tests.
Funding Opportunity: This class is approved by Penn Heat Pump Pathways. If your company and/or employee resides in Pennsylvania, then you are eligible for benefits. Contact PPATEC at training@papetroleum.org to learn more.
Lunch is provided for attendees at no additional cost.
