EPA 608 Certification Prep & Test

Taking the EPA Section 608 certification is a crucial step for anyone who wants to work in the HVAC field. Successfully passing this test gives you a lifelong license. It’s also good across the country – so if you decide to move to another state, you’re still covered. The program will feature a morning preparation along with an afternoon test. Attendee has the opportunity to attended a future EPA 608 Test if they do not initially pass during the first two test attempts. Scheduling will be contingent on PPATEC instructor and class availability.

It is expected that attendees read the manual before attending the class to increase the likelihood of passing the test. The manual will be sent as a PDF two weeks before the start of the class and will be sent as a Google drive link in the confirmation email.

Lunch is provided for attendees at no additional cost.

Our Instructors:

Mike Snyder has worked in the mechanical trades since 1988, building a career rooted in technical expertise and leadership. He spent the majority of his career as a service technician before advancing into a service manager role. Over the years, Mike also contributed to safety and human resources initiatives, broadening his impact across the organization. Before retiring in 2025 from a local mechanical contractor, he led the company’s technical training efforts, helping to develop and mentor the next generation of skilled technicians.
