In this class, technicians and employees will learn a basic understanding of technical components such as TXV’s, compressors, coils, heat exchangers, etc. so they can take this information and be able to demonstrate and explain to homeowners. Technicians and employees will also learn the basic processes to respectfully and responsibly move through a customer’s house during a maintenance or service call.

- • Where to park during a call
- • How to enter a customer’s home
- • Asking homeowner questions prior to starting work to find system issues or enhancements
- • Explaining findings to homeowners

Our Instructor: Nathan Foster has been in the industry for over 10 years with his most recent experience serving as director of installation and sales at Vertex Mechanical. His background includes new construction and retrofit installations along with service and maintenance work. During his time as a service and maintenance technician he excelled in finding solutions for customers’ needs with utilizing air purification, zoning controls, humidity control, as well as finding the right time for a customer to replace their system. He currently holds NATE certifications in A/C and Heat Pump installation and Service.
